Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate heaven! Treat yourself to a batch of cookies!

Makes 12 biscuits | Ready in 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 125g sunflower margarine

  • 125g caster sugar

  • 200g self raising flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 100g dark chocolate chips

  • 1-2 tbsp water

Preheat oven to 180°C/Gas 4.

Cream the margarine and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in the dry ingredients, with the water if needed, to form a dough.

Roll into walnut sized balls and place on trays. Press each ball down slightly with the back of a fork.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden. Leave on the baking tray for ten minutes then place on a wire rack to cool.
